I stayed one night here which isn't really enough to take in everything they have to offer on the property, the room was very peaceful and quiet, probably one of the most quiet stays during my three week trip to Malta and Gozo which I really appreciated. The room was well equipped and clean, and layed out nicely... not too cramped. The gardens at this hotel are very nice (visiting in October), wonderful variety of plants, walking the grounds itself is a treat. The views of the channel from the terrace restaurant and heated pool area are also very nice. I think overall this is a nice hotel with friendly staff. I didn't make it to the Spa, but overall very restorative vibe.

Hotel Ta Cenc is situated in a wonderful location on Gozo, near the world-famous cliffs. It's especially beautiful in spring, when the flowers bloom in every color above the azure sea. The setting is peaceful and inviting, perfect for relaxing walks. The food at this 5-star hotel is varied and excellent; the incredible buffet is highly recommended. The hotel's Ta' Cenc II Kantra restaurant is also highly recommended, although unfortunately, there's no shuttle bus service, as the restaurant is about 3.5 km away and only open for lunch until 5 pm. The entire hotel team is very friendly and helpful, and they try their best to fulfill guests' wishes. A big compliment to them. Unfortunately, I spent three weeks in an old and very neglected bungalow-like room. Many things were broken or didn't work, or didn't work properly. The faucet dripped and was difficult to turn on. To take a shower, you had to climb into the old bathtub, which was so rotten and flimsy that you were afraid it would fall through. The only, battered mosquito net is in the bathroom, making it nearly impossible to ventilate the musty room. I managed to reduce the stench somewhat by plugging the various drain holes, which is also evident in the gray patches. The windows and doors are also rotten and broken, and the handles are loose. There's no sea view, as the bushes and surrounding area are poorly maintained. Cut and fallen palm fronds are simply thrown into a pile, creating a haven for rats. Unfortunately, due to the presence of these rats, I couldn't leave the balcony door open. The terrace, including the furniture, wasn't cleaned or mopped during the entire three weeks. The safe doesn't work properly, and the in-room refrigerator is empty. There are no day curtains, despite the view inside, and some of the night curtains aren't even hanging. Al this during these 3 weeks. In conclusion: The complex has been partially renovated but is still far from a 5-star standard. Despite our feedback, we were not offered the opportunity to change rooms, and our requests were only addressed pro forma. ……

Didn’t stop at the hotel . Only went for the spa and massage. What a lovely place. Very open clean. A nice zen about the place. As for the massage, epic. Emily was brilliant. I have more knots than a ships rigging and she worked on everything. Highly recommended I will be staying there in the future.

Un petit coin de paradis ! Un très joli bungalow avec sa terrasse en guise de chambre, une piscine extérieure chauffée à couper le souffle, un magnifique coucher de soleil depuis les falaises toutes proches : nous avons adoré cette parenthèse enchantée.

Tolle, sehr gepflegte weitläufige grüne Anlage unweit der Ta cenc Cliffs, die sich wunderbar in die Landschaft integriert. Sehr freundliches Personal. Im Januar waren sehr wenig Gäste da und es war sehr ruhig. Jede Wohneinheit hat eigene Sonnenliegen und Sitzgelegenheiten auf der Terrasse vor der Tür. Viele haben eine schattenspendende Überdachung. Getrennte Pools für Familien mit Kindern und Erwachsene. Im Winter sind eine Sauna und ein dritter, beheizter Pool, in dem man nach draußen schwimmen kann, sehr schön. Im Haupthaus sind Restaurants, Bar ( jeweils mit großen Terassen), Lesezimmer, SPA-Bereich und einige Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist großartig. Es ist eine ältere Anlage und es störte uns nicht, dass mal eine Tür quietschte oder das Fenster bei Sturm klapperte. Auch die Einrichtungsgegenstände sind älter, vielleicht kann das eine oder andere Teil aufgearbeitet/ ausgetauscht werden. Zu beachten ist vielleicht, dass Katzen in dieser Anlage zum Hotelbetrieb dazugehören. Es wird sehr darauf geachtet, dass sie nicht ins Haupthaus, die Restaurants und die Bar kommen. Auf der Terrasse sollte man sie nicht füttern und abweisen. Letztendlich wissen sie, wo es was zu holen gibt ;-)

No internet in room for all of our trip. Hotel could not organise a simple taxi ride despite repeated requests. The result was we were left stranded and could have missed our flight home. Room has flies most of the time so hotel staff had to keep spraying it. Good food and location.
