We had previously stayed at this hotel before it was taken over by the Hilton. It was good then but I'd say it's a step up now. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was the cheapest but still very nice. Dipa did a great job of cleaning it each day and we enjoyed our interactions with her. The hotel facilities are very good with multiple swimming pools and onsite amenities. We went half board and the food was tasty and plentiful. We particularly enjoyed the BBQ on our penultimate night. We liked the hotel's location in the town centre, and very close to the main bus depot. Unfortunately its locality to the clubs and bars means that it can be a bit noisy at night, however this didn't affect us as our room was at the back of the building. Overall there was a good atmosphere and a nice mixture of nationalities. It was a bonus that they allowed people to watch the England v Mexico game in the bar at 3am!

Beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms and loved my stay there. I was disappointed on day one when my room was facing the main road. Seaview only visible by leaning forward on the balcony and looking to the left. I had paid for seaview specifically. However the amazing front desk staff Sami, resolved this issue the same night. I was able to get my room changed the next day. The swap over was so smooth with little to no disruption to my wonderful holiday. It's a beautiful hotel and I was able to enjoy so many aspects of it. So many pools to choose from and the cocktails were on point. The massage at the spa was again so good (I have a separate review for this). I did a few day trips to explore the island as well. I loved Malta and loved staying here at this Doubletree. I wished I had booked a week. I'll definitely be back. I may even visit your sister hotel over in St Julian's. Thank you Hilton as always for having me.

Very clean and spacious hotel. No bumping into the desk at end of bed as plenty of space in rooms, and also hallways and other hotel areas. Food very good , location splendid. We took our holiday in October so was not busy with plenty of sunbed availability, plenty of bars and restaurants along sea front plus tourist street just behind hotel. Very good vibe with music but never over the top that it intruded into room. Private tunnel across road to sunbeds and access to sea. Staff in all parts of hotel were excellent. Would highly recommend staying at the double tree Hilton Malta.

Staff, fantastic, always willing to help. Food fantastic, plenty of choice, full of flavour, well presented Pool area, week1, very good, animation team brilliant. Plenty of beds Pool area, week2, oh dear, by 08:30 70% of beds had towels on them, most unused before 11:00, some unused all day. But, no signs saying do not reserve and nobody from the hotel monitoring it. Room, hot water to the basin, sporadic, shower was good, beds okay. But, very little space for clothing, 2 small drawers, lived out of our suitcases, hanging space but only a couple of hangers, maid got us more. Overall a disappointing hotel for the Hilton brand.

Un buon hotel a 4 stelle. Ci sono 2 piscine scoperte, 1 coperta e un beach club Sabi con altre due piscine e l'accesso al mare. Struttura un po' datata quindi alcune finiture non sono accettabili. La camera che ci hanno assegnato aveva un bagno cieco e piccolissimo, infatti ci hanno cambiato la camera due giorni dopo, più grande e con il bagno finestrato. Un ringraziamento particolare a Sooraj il nostro house keeping sempre attento alle esigenze dei clienti e sempre disponibile. 🙏👏👍 Colazione a buffet, con tanta varietà di cibo. Il personale sempre disponibile e attento alle esigenze degli ospiti. Ottimi i servizi e la posizione, vicina al capolinea dei buses di Bugibba. Ci vogliono ore per arrivare a la Valletta e all' aeroporto perché il traffico in stagione estiva e come quello di una grande città. Intenso e caotico.

A superb experience in Malta, impeccable service! We had an excellent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Malta. The hotel is modern, extremely clean, and very well located. Right from check-in, we were welcomed with great hospitality (and their famous cookie, a wonderful touch!). The rooms are beautiful and spacious, equipped with everything you need, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The room cleaning team does an excellent job. The breakfast was extremely varied, with fresh products and options for all tastes. The staff deserves all the praise – friendly, attentive to details, and eager to help at any moment. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malta!
