Très grande déception : une expérience loin de ce qui était annoncé Nous avons commencé par commander des pâtes au mérou. Le plat était extrêmement piquant, avec une quantité excessive d’harissa, au point d’être difficile à manger dès la première bouchée. En revanche, il manquait totalement de saveur : pas de parfum d’ail ni d’assaisonnement équilibré. Nous avons également commandé une kammoynia aux poulpes. Malheureusement, le poulpe était tellement caoutchouteux et élastique qu’il était presque impossible à couper. Face à ces déceptions, nous avons changé nos choix et pris une pizza ainsi que des tagliatelles au saumon. La pizza était très fade, sans aucun goût, sans basilic comme attendu. Quant aux « tagliatelles », elles ne ressemblaient pas à de véritables tagliatelles : des pâtes dures, ressemblant davantage à de la rèchta, sans ail et sans aucune trace de basilic. Au final, beaucoup d’attentes mais une grande déception. La carte et les plats servis ne semblent pas correspondre, ce qui donne une expérience frustrante pour le client.

As a former hotel inspector, I have mixed feelings about our stay at Oceana Hotel Hammamet. The positives were beautiful, well-maintained grounds, a relaxing atmosphere, pleasant staff and generally good standards of cleanliness. Unfortunately, several issues affected our experience. Mould in the shower required four reports before it was addressed, and only after I showed reception a video of me removing some of it with a wet wipe. It was also surprising to see pest control throwing poison pellets into palm trees around the pool area during the middle of the day while guests were relaxing. The most concerning incident occurred on our final evening. After stepping onto our third-floor balcony and closing the patio door, we discovered there was no external handle and no warning sign advising guests not to shut the door. Because we had locked the main room door for the night, we were trapped outside for around 80 minutes. The recovery operation involved maintenance throwing up tools, followed by a member of staff climbing an unsuitable ladder with the aid of a rope before eventually forcing the door open. The maintenance employee was excellent and simply doing his best, but the whole situation raised serious safety concerns. To our surprise, another couple told us at checkout that the same thing had happened to them earlier in their stay. Oceana has many strengths and some wonderful staff, but guest safety and communication surrounding the balcony doors urgently need reviewing.

Nous avons passé une journée dans cet hôtel on était agréablement surpris par la propreté de la piscine et ses alentours, la plage était sublime. L’accueil très chaleureux et personnel au top. Je recommande vivement!

This review is regarding my recent stay at the Oceana Hammamet Hotel from 14th June to 21st June 2026. Until the final night of our stay, my holiday was highly enjoyable. However, the experience was entirely spoiled by a severe and unacceptable disturbance on the night of Saturday 20th June. From 11:45 PM until 3:40 AM, the hotel played loud, booming music, so loud it shook the foundations of our room. The volume level was inconsiderate and disruptive, making it impossible to sleep. This caused us significant distress, anger, and exhaustion, especially as my partner and I had to be up at 5am to be picked up at 6.10am to travel home the following day. I was particularly shocked by the lack of consideration for their guests. The hotel was hosting many individuals from elderly to very young children, all of whom had their sleep severely disrupted by this excessive noise during anti-social hours. A hotel has a basic duty of care to provide a restful environment for its paying guests overnight. On checkout and relaying our annoyance the guy behind the counter just shrugged his shoulders as if not to care!! I have no clue why any hotel would host such an event without telling paying guests this would be so antisocial to the majority of guests at the hotel. I can only imagine the impact it must have on surrounding hotels also. Absolutely intolerable. If you like loud rave/Dance music and a lifelong tinnitus issue, this hotel is for you. Otherwise I'd find out if this is going to affect your stay before booking. If in doubt stay away!!

Ho alloggiato all'Oceana Hotel & Spa durante una visita di lavoro a Hammamet e sono rimasto particolarmente colpito dall'incredibile quantità di palme che circondano la struttura e dal grande impiego di marmo nella sua costruzione, che le conferisce eleganza e prestigio. Ho apprezzato molto anche le camere, ampie, confortevoli e sempre impeccabilmente pulite. Ho trovato tutto il personale, dai receptionist agli addetti ai servizi, dal personale di sala agli chef di cucina, altamente qualificato, professionale e sempre disponibile. La cucina è di altissimo livello, il parco e la piscina sono estremamente curati e la spiaggia, direttamente adiacente all'hotel, completa una cornice davvero da favola. Ci tornerei senza alcuna esitazione.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel au mois de juin et avons beaucoup apprécié son emplacement, au calme tout en restant proche de Hammamet. Le personnel est particulièrement accueillant, serviable et toujours prêt à rendre service. Les chambres mériteraient toutefois un rafraîchissement, notamment la robinetterie et le mobilier. Le buffet est de taille modeste, mais la qualité des plats est excellente. Mention spéciale pour le restaurant Culinarium qui offre une expérience gastronomique raffinée, et ainsi que le restaurant Seaside, remarquable le midi. Il est seulement dommage qu’il ne soit pas ouvert le soir.
