Whilst the property is incredibly beautiful and well laid out with the pool, good restaurants and good beach access, the service quality has been a let down from the duty manager to the front desk. I am a Marriott bonvoy platinum member and one of the benefits is a complimentary room upgrade which I have got all over the world when I have travelled for leisure. However when I requested for a complimentary room upgrade at the Renaissance a week in advance as we are celebrating our wedding anniversary, the upgrade was not provided even with the property at 60% occupancy. This is disappointing and not the way Marriott chain treats its Platinum Elite members. Safe to say I will be choosing another Marriott hotel when I visit Phuket next.

Excellent hotel , located really near to Mai Khao plaza where you can find 711 , restaurants , coffee , ice cream shops and amenities- free shuttle bus leaves from the hotel on the hour . Reception staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and very helpful. Lounge bar is relaxed with a pool table and nice cocktails . Pool is spacious near the beach ( red flag was up during our stay, which was August - so not suitable for swimming as the current is too strong on high tide ) but the pool is more than enough . The pool staff ( R, Sun , Tuffy and all ) goes beyond expected bringing towels , water and complimentary fruit . Food is available throughout the day and evenings at the poolside bar . Starbucks on site and beautiful surroundings . Rooms and very clean and spacious and all amenities are great( air con and a nice balcony among others). Thanks June and Mild for cleaning our room daily and for the extra special touches . Highlight is the BREAKFAST! You can’t compete with this place - egg station , hot and cold food , cereals , chocolate fountain , ice cream and even a fresh honey “combe “! The food is exceptional!!! It just gets really busy, so better arriving before 10am - even though it runs until 11am! We had the best stay ! We would certainly come back ! Thanks to all for making our holidays so unforgettable!

Had a very memorable weekend stay here! Service from the hotel was very warm and a superb experience. Seen checked us in and made us feel very welcome and this is a nice resort for you to relax away from busy city life. We had a nice private villa to ourselves. The breakfast was very good too and you must try their Mee Sapam, i love it. Their coconut ice cream is very good too! We also had a very good dinner at Takieng and the service there was amazing as well. Will recommend to friends and return too one day!

I have just spent 4 very enjoyable nights at Renaisance Resort and Spa. I could not fault the friendly and efficient service. A special mention for Bam at the Reception who was very helpful in every way. Also, Aoy from housekeeping was extremely attentive to our needs. I celebrated my birthday during our stay and was made to feel very special on the day with a cake and a chorus of 'happy birthday during our meal at Takieng Restaurant. ' Big, Pang, and Ploy made my birthday dinner a wonderful experience. There were a couple of minor negative experiences. 1. The seats on the bicycles were extremely uncomfortable so much so that my wife had to abandon her cycle around the lake. 2.There is so much rubbish around the lake it is disappointing. Perhaps the chain of 5 star hotels around Mai Khoa Beach could organise a CLEAN UP THE RUBBISH DAY. Perhaps they could organise a free lunch for volunteers whether they be local people or tourists It is a special area that requires better management. 3.I don't like the red flashing lights in the Sports Bar. It reminds me of the Patong Red Light District. We will be back! Chris and Poon (very happy customers)

Ocean-front Bedroom Villa 512 is the best place to stay! The welcome fruit basket were plenty, comes with juices in cute glass bottles. Our bottles of water supplied everyday were more than sufficient. Main pool is just beside our villa. The Mao Kao beach is just 15 steps in front with beach chairs, bean bags and hammocks awaiting. Staffs always on standby to hand out beach towels whenever we were in sight. We managed to watch the sun set - beautiful sight without stepping out or at all from our villa! Throught the resort including our villa's garden/lawn, the plants were well cared for making our stay extra worthy. The Ritz-Carlton service standard upheld throughout our stay from the moment we stepped into the property 😀 till end of our stay 😞. Every touch points was truly a good and memorable experience. Kudos and many many kub kun to Gas, Aon, Freeha, Kate, housekeeping team and the rest in Renaissance Phuket.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa was truly memorable. Freya from customer relations made us feel completely at home—she was warm, genuine, and it was lovely learning about her home country during our conversations. Pla at the restaurant welcomed us with such a beautiful smile and instantly made us feel comfortable. Special thanks to Chef Jatin from India, who personally came to understand our dietary requirements and prepared absolutely delicious food for us. The beach setting is stunning, cleanliness throughout the property is impeccable, and the staff hospitality is genuinely outstanding. The spa is massive, beautifully designed, peaceful, and perfect for complete relaxation. And lastly, heartfelt thanks to Jenny, who accommodated us in every possible way and made our experience even more special. Highly recommended!
