Bit more on the pricey side but we had discount voucher to use. Stayed in a deluxe room and it was massive. Room could have fit another 2 king beds in it and the bathroom was super large as well. Be aware that not all deluxe rooms come with balcony/terrace and ours didnt because of how late we booked so if this is important to you then maybe book early or specifically request this when booking. Bed was comfy, all facilities worked, shower pressure was sufficient and had the overhead rainfall option or you could change to the handheld shower head. Plenty of cupboards/drawers to store clothes and belongings. Mini fridge was one of the largest we've had and I particularly liked the full length mirror in the hallway. The buffet breakfast has everything you would need ... breads, spreads, local, western and european cuisines, condiments, yoghurts, fruits, egg stations and even a chocolate fondant fountain! We enjoyed the option of having an adult only pool to relax away from the family pool and the squirrel tree was a highlight for us as well! Grounds are well maintained and perfect location right on melasti street to walk out into the hustle and bustle with shops/bars right outside the hotel and garlic lane a 2 minute walk away, or you could enjoy the beach from the hotel or venture on to the beach bars right outside the hotel. Authorised money changer directly outside of hotel made it convenient to exchange cash and I can't fault the staff at all. From the reception, to bar staff, to room service and maintenance crew, everyone was smiling and wishing us pleasantries everytime we walked past. Would absolutely stay here again!

We’ve had a really enjoyable stay at Legian Beach Hotel Bali. Overall, we’re very happy with our holiday and would definitely come back. Here’s our honest 4-star review. The hotel is absolutely lovely and very, very clean, with beautiful grounds. The reception is particularly lovely, with the goldfish and water features giving a great first impression. Our private garden Villa 9A was fantastic, with our own pool, a gorgeous jacuzzi bath and beautiful flower arrangements. Having our own pool was brilliant for some peace and privacy away from the main pools.The staff are one of the biggest positives. They are incredibly friendly, welcoming, attentive and always willing to help. They really do go above and beyond. The laundry service is brilliant. Four items of clothing can be washed and returned the next day — something we’ve never experienced at a hotel before. A massive tick! 🍽️ Food was generally good, with plenty of choice, including international and Balinese evening menus. There’s also a great pool menu at lunchtime with plenty of food and snacks. The coffee and lattes are amazing too! The only issue was that food temperature could sometimes be hit and miss, depending on how long it had been waiting. 🍴 Dinner service was also occasionally inconsistent. When the right staff were working, service was excellent and food was hot and well presented. On some occasions, the level of attention wasn’t quite as good. 🥐 Breakfast can be very busy, although we loved having the option to sit outside on the terrace. 🍸 There’s a lovely upstairs lounge bar with great sea views. There’s also a Teppanyaki restaurant, although this isn’t included in all-inclusive. 🥃 Important if booking all-inclusive: not all spirits are included. Jack Daniel’s isn’t included and we only discovered this after ordering one — it worked out at around £7.50. Worth checking what’s included before ordering. 🏊 The adult-only pool is great, with a swim-up bar. One thing I did miss was pool activities such as water polo and volleyball. There aren’t really any pool games. 🎶 Evening entertainment is also limited, with things generally winding down around 10:30–11pm. 🎆 There are fireworks on the beach most nights. This isn’t the hotel’s fault at all, but it is something to be aware of. 🌴 BALI & LEGIAN The hotel is right in the heart of Legian, which is fantastic for location, but it is extremely busy outside. The good thing is that you barely hear the outside noise once inside the hotel. 🛵 Scooters are everywhere and can be intimidating if you’re not used to them. The roads and traffic are very different from Britain and Europe, but you soon adapt. 🛡️ Safety: our family had concerns before we came, but honestly, neither me nor my wife experienced anything that made us feel unsafe. We were completely comfortable going out and exploring. We found Bali to be very, very safe, using normal common sense. You will constantly get offered taxi/scooter rides and hear plenty of beeping horns. It can get tiring, but it’s just part of the Bali experience. 🏖️ The beach opposite the hotel is brilliant. The sunsets are beautiful and swimming in the sea was unbelievable. I had concerns about jellyfish beforehand, but the water was clear and lovely. 💰 Bali is very cheap compared with the UK — for example, a can of Coke was around 35p compared with roughly £1.60 in Britain. ☀️ The weather has been fabulous and we couldn’t have asked for better. For us, the things stopping this being 5 stars are mainly the lack of daytime pool activities, limited evening entertainment, occasional inconsistency with dinner service/food temperature, and some all-inclusive exclusions not being immediately obvious. None of these ruined our holiday. The hotel is clean, beautiful, the staff are fantastic, our villa was brilliant and the location is excellent. Would I come back to Legian Beach Hotel? Absolutely. A great holiday, fabulous weather and some brilliant memories. 🌴☀️🌊🇮🇩

not the newest hotel but extremely well kept, spacious and clean. we had a two bedroom two storey room perfect for our family with two kids albeit a bit noisy at night... our kids can sleep through noise so totally fine for us. Thoughtful, kind and hospitable service in every area of the hotel. Two pools - adult and child incl a 50cm pool with a slide adjoining the kids club. we didn't use kids club as we had a nanny for a few of the days which really helped us get our own relaxing time too as it allowed us to feel like we could drop in and out of our family plans. Great gardens and grounds with daily squirrel feeding and fish feeding which is an exciting way to round off the extensive buffet breakfast (including barista coffee on request). Massage/spa service is very good. but there is also a great and very cheap place around the corner called organic spa that is very relaxing and can usually walk in at any time for what you want. The duke over the road is also a family friendly and cheap restaurant with decent western and indo food. We love a trip into Kuta to visit kori restaurant and fat bowl round the corner is lovely too as well as a handful of restaurants along the beach.

Good simple hotel for several nights. Big comfortable bed, shower, fridge in the room. Was great to get still water. In our room we wiring hear much noise. Pretty good breakfast: we chose avocado toast with egg, watermelon and still water. Pool was really great: big, with panoramic views, you can even see the sea. People here were attentive

The accommodation was fabulous. Buffet breakfast was amazing, two great pools, one for adults only. The food and beverage service around the pool was excellent. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Hendra who cleaned our room every day was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Wow, what an amazing 5-day stay!!! From the moment you arrive, you can tell this hotel is something special. No request is too big or too small, and the 24-hour security at the entrances gives you peace of mind. Every staff member greets you with a beautiful smile and a warm welcome whenever you walk past—they truly make you feel at home. The breakfast is incredible! The lovely ladies do an amazing job seating everyone as soon as you come up the stairs or out of the elevator. The selection is enormous, with just about everything you could think of. A special thank you to Hendra, K and TJ at the Coco Pool Bar, who made our afternoons so enjoyable with their friendly service and great personalities. On our last night, we were starting to miss our own bed (which is completely normal after travelling!), so I asked if it would be possible to have a mattress topper. Once again, no request was too big or too small—it was organised immediately and fitted by housekeeping that same morning. The level of service was outstanding. We also used the hotel’s laundry service, and every item came back perfectly washed, beautifully ironed and neatly folded. The attention to detail was fantastic. Our flight home wasn’t until 11:00 pm, so after checking out we thought we’d have to spend the day wandering around in the heat until it was time to head to the airport. We had no idea when we booked that the hotel allows guests to continue enjoying the facilities after check-out! We spent the day relaxing by the pool, our luggage was safely stored away, and before leaving we were able to use the men’s and women’s shower facilities to freshen up before our flight. What an incredible bonus! One thing worth mentioning is that you’re staying in the heart of Bali. If you’re the type of person who’s going to complain about people enjoying their holiday, the occasional fireworks on the beach or the lively atmosphere that comes with staying in such a popular destination, then you might be better off looking somewhere quieter. That’s all part of the Bali experience, and we absolutely loved it! Above all, we want to say how incredibly grateful we are to each and every staff member. Every single person we encountered greeted us with genuine kindness, warmth and beautiful smiles. It is the people who make this hotel so special, and their hospitality is something we’ll never forget! We leave Bali with full hearts and so much appreciation for everyone at Legian Beach Hotel. We sincerely wish every member of the team good health, happiness and many blessings for the future. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable and for treating us like family! This is just one more reason why we can’t wait to come back and stay again! If you’re considering staying at Legian Beach Hotel, don’t hesitate—you won’t regret it.
