Stayed 11 nights here and the worst experience in my life. Reception: has no connection with anything, couldn't tell us what will be the option for dinner, or for how much. Rude, making faces when anything asked. English knowledge around A1. Restaurant: Friendly staff, however, basic English as well, they couldn't understand most of things. The options are boring, also if you in a hurry in the morning don't expect much to eat before 8 a.m. they say it starts 7:30 but 7:30 is the time when they start put out things. Cleanliness: this is 5 star, I only gave tips for them, friendly cleaners, there was one, he had fluent English super friendly, he should've been at the reception desk, not cleaning. Room: No TV, no do not disturb sign, no information leaflets about events. One negative experience: my room was flooded at 2 a.m. went to reception, the guy wasn't sure again what I talked about, first he had to check, then he said he will clean it up and he closed the water, 15 minutes later he appeared with cleaning stuff, I asked him if I could have a different room he disappeared for another 30 minutes to offer me a room which hasn't been cleaned. In the mean time, I cleaned up most of the water and refused the dirty room they offered. They offered no compensation at all, or some discount from the restaurant bill. Positive: friendly staff except the receptionist. Overviews: don't come here if you want great food selection, the pool has salt water in it, the beach is rocky but beautiful.

Sono stata in questo resort ad agosto 2026. Eravamo un gruppo di amici. Hotel alcol free quindi nessuna possibilità di prendere neanche una birra da bere in piscina. Personale zero reattivo. Siamo arrivati alle 10 di sera e nessuna delle stanze aveva la biancheria, nella mia stanza c'era solo un asciugamano e pure sporco. Il bagno era indecente. Il rubinetto della doccia staccato dal muro e l acqua che scendeva a mala pena. I cuscini scomodissimi. Abbiamo chiesto ogni giorno di averli più bassi e solo dopo la terza notte ce li hanno fatti avere. Non so se ci sono camere migliori ma questo hotel costa 200 euro a notte circa ed è inaccettabile.

We had the best honeymoon ever in this resort. First of all, kindness and hospitality of staff is at the highest level. So polite, professional and helpful. We had so many surprises for our honeymoon. Special dinners, decorated tables and bed, and everything was included in price. Food and spices are different than here in Europe but taste is very good. Everyday you have fresh fruits. Resort is big and even when it’s full you have plenty of space. VERY IMPORTANT- they are well aware that European people shouldn’t drink their water from pipes and every morning they deliver to you fresh water in bottle. Coffee and tea are made with fresh water. They are well aware about mosquitoes and when they clean your room they spray repellent all around . And they clean your room, everyday. They know English, enough to understand and communicate with you. At the reception they can arrange you everything . Trips, taxi and even school visiting. Location of resort is very good, you need 10-15 minutes walking to Nungwi beach (one of the most beautiful beaches on Zanzibar). One more time - stuff in resort is AMAZING! This is definitely place we would like to come again and again and again. Big greetings for Romana, Christian, Elia and all other stuff. Your kindness will be mentioned in every story about our honeymoon.

Our stay at Tanzanite Beach Resort was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile — they truly made us feel like family. The food was delicious, fresh, and well prepared, with great variety that everyone enjoyed. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a relaxing family stay. And the beach… simply beautiful — peaceful, clean, and breathtaking. It was the perfect place to relax and make memories together. We enjoyed every moment so much that my family kept saying they wanted to stay longer and longer. That alone says everything about how special this place is. Thank you to the entire Tanzanite Beach Resort team for such a wonderful experience. A truly beautiful hotel with an amazing ocean view and a very calm, relaxing atmosphere. The location is perfect — right by the sea, with stunning colors What really makes this place special is the staff. They are incredibly loyal, attentive, and genuinely caring. You feel welcomed and looked after from the first moment, not just as a guest but almost like family Overall, a wonderful stay with great service, delicious food, and a view you won’t forget.

The best resort ever! Amazing garden, looks like a heaven, so many picturesque places, sea views, big and clean rooms and friendly stuff! We were 20 persons and we enjoyed our stay so much! Thanks for the late check-out and great hospitality! Recommended
