What an amazing resort. I still can’t get over how happy I am with my vacation. The weather was perfect all week long for starters. The buffet is very impressive, lots of choice during the week which included themed nights. Some people have the audacity to complain.. I wonder if THEY have so many selection in their cooking every week..Coffee shop is such a treat awesome free cappuccinos. I had room 21409( building 21, 4th floor ) it was beautiful ,very spacious , the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The only thing with the room was that that building had no elevator. Managed to find a lovely employee at the bottom of the stairs that helped me bring my enormous luggage up 4 floors. The beach is amazing, the pool also. You can always find a chair to sit at. Towels are sometimes an issue, I believe because some guests abuse of the service, I managed to keep mine a few days. Entertainment is very proactive , a big shoutout to Andy and especially OZIRIS who just started out with the team, he’s a star in the making!!Easy commute to and from the airport, Narcisso from air Canada was adorable. Great airport. Easy breezy! Will go back for sure

We celebrated a long holiday weekend at Emotions in Puerto Plata and I would highly recommend this resort for anyone who’s staying in the area. It’s a few minutes from the airport and the beaches that served it are impeccable. The staff is incredibly friendly (especially Carmen, Franklin & Amaury) and the atmosphere lets you know you have come to relaxing place. What I really liked was the dinner option on the beach. You get a beautiful sunset view. This is our 4th time here and it never disappoints.

Great resort! Multiple pools. Adults only area. Family friendly. Great beach. Buffet - is typical buffet food. The a la carte restaurants - amazing! Each staff member we encountered over the top friendly, but not fake friendly. They genuinely care about the guests.

Después de un par de décadas he visitado de nuevo Puerto Plata. Nos quedamos para una boda especial en Emotions y tuvimos la grata sorpresa de compartir con el propietario de la Cadena Don H. Hotel con un personal espectacular, muy educado, disponible y amable. Habitaciones grandes y cómodas, varios restaurantes temáticos, playa limpia y tranquila, en fin la pasamos muy bien 👍

The resort is nice, but Justino who's working at amicii is just incredible. The food is very good and the service is perfect. Ramon is very chill too. I recommend. And Maribel is incredible and funny, we had a really good moment

Wir waren im März 2026 als Vierergruppe in diesem Hotel und können es leider nicht weiterempfehlen. Das kulinarische Angebot hat unseren Geschmack nicht getroffen. Zudem hatten wir den Eindruck, dass Speisen mit und ohne Fleisch teilweise in denselben Töpfen zubereitet wurden. Als sehr störend empfanden wir das aufdringliche Werben für den „Members Club“, bei dem versucht wird, Gäste mit Gratis-Massagen zum Vertragsabschluss zu drängen. Uns wurde dabei unter anderem gesagt, man benötige im Grunde nur eine Kreditkarte und solle angeben, sehr gutes Englisch zu sprechen. Auch das Zimmer enttäuschte: Die Klimaanlage ist während unseres Aufenthalts zweimal ausgefallen. Die Sauberkeit entsprach insgesamt nicht unseren Erwartungen, und im Essbereich befanden sich Vögel auf den Tischen. Wir hatten uns im Vorfeld für ein Upgrade entschieden, da das reguläre Zimmer sehr einfach war – selbst das Upgrade lag jedoch deutlich unter europäischem Standard. Positiv hervorzuheben ist lediglich das schöne Meer. Für uns gilt jedoch: Einmal und nicht wieder, insbesondere in keinem Hotel dieser Kette.
