Nous venons de passer une semaine en formule all inclusive à l’Avra Imperial Hotel et dans l’ensemble, le séjour est très satisfaisant, avec une note de 4/5. L’hôtel est vraiment superbe visuellement, très bien entretenu et d’une propreté irréprochable. Les espaces communs sont agréables et le personnel se montre globalement très accueillant et serviable, ce qui contribue fortement à la qualité de l’expérience. Un vrai point fort, presque “magique”, concerne les bars : la qualité des cocktails et la variété des boissons proposées est nettement au-dessus de ce qu’on retrouve habituellement en all inclusive. C’est un vrai plaisir au quotidien. La piscine “adult only” est également un excellent point, offrant un cadre plus calme et reposant, très apprécié pour se détendre. Le spa est aussi un vrai plus : très agréable, bien entretenu, avec des prestations de qualité qui permettent de vraiment se relaxer (hamam, sauna, jacuzzi en illimité). Possibilité de louer un véhicule directement à l’hôtel (ne vous attendez pas à une voiture dernier cri mais l’agent est de très bon conseil pour vos escapades). En revanche, plusieurs points viennent nuancer l’expérience. Le buffet manque un peu de diversité et de renouvellement, surtout sur une semaine complète, ce qui peut devenir répétitif. La qualité des transats autour des piscines est également en dessous du niveau global de l’hôtel. Autre bémol : le réapprovisionnement des chambres est perfectible, avec un manque de suivi pour l’eau, le mini-bar ou certains produits d’hygiène, ce qui est dommage pour un établissement de ce standing. Enfin, l’isolation phonique des chambres est clairement insuffisante, ce qui peut gêner le confort et la tranquillité, notamment selon le voisinage. En résumé, un très bel hôtel avec de vraies qualités (notamment les bars, le spa, la propreté et les espaces piscine) mais quelques points d’amélioration importants qui l’empêchent d’atteindre l’excellence.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Avra Imperial. This is a truly beautiful place, with amazing architectural solutions, breathtaking pools, a fantastic spa, and outstanding service. I would especially like to highlight the attitude and professionalism of the Service Manager, Sokrates. He is an exceptional professional — attentive, always present, and clearly dedicated to making sure everything runs perfectly. The restaurant staff were incredibly kind and hardworking. It was impressive to see how much effort they put into their work while always remaining friendly and welcoming. A special 5-star mention goes to Tasos, who represents the true spirit of Greek hospitality with his warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for guests. Touqeer was also very kind and helpful, but honestly, every member of the team made us feel welcome.The housekeeping team and the bell staff were also extremely polite, friendly, and attentive — their kindness and willingness to help truly added to our experience. Thank you Avra Imperial for an unforgettable experience — we will remember our stay fondly!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Un séjour merveilleux ! Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans cet hôtel ! Le service est vraiment au top, les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables et très bien entretenues, tout comme l’ensemble de l’hôtel qui est magnifique et parfaitement soigné. Le personnel est adorable, très agréable et vraiment attachant. On s’y sent rapidement bien et accueilli comme il se doit. Le All Inclusive est également vraiment top, avec beaucoup de choix et de quoi satisfaire tout le monde. Pour profiter pleinement de la Crète, je recommande vivement de faire les excursions à Balos et Gramvousa ainsi qu’à Elafonisi, qui sont absolument magnifiques et incontournables ! Il faut également prendre le temps de visiter Chania (La Canée) : l’arrêt de bus se trouve juste en face de l’hôtel et le trajet coûte seulement 3,90 €. Pour ceux qui souhaitent explorer l’île à leur rythme, il est également possible de louer directement une voiture à l’hôtel, ce qui est très pratique. Nous repartons avec de très beaux souvenirs et nous recommandons cet hôtel sans hésitation ! ❤️🇬🇷

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was warm, relaxing, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, making us feel very well taken care of throughout our stay. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, and the overall experience reflected a true spirit of generous hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would be delighted to return in the future. Highly recommended!

We were staying at the hotel and decided to get a spontaneous pedicure. Mary did an amazing job! She was incredibly gentle, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire treatment. At the end, my mom decided to get a manicure as well, and it turned out just as perfect. We are both very happy with the service. Thank you so much, Mary! We highly recommend you!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Reception staff were very helpful, our room and shared pool was lovely, the hotel grounds and pools are stunning, the creche was great for our 18 month old, and the gym was adequate for a hotel gym. We really liked the location too - very peaceful but with enough local tavernas to visit on a short stroll. We’d also highly recommend a day trip to Chania. The only minor criticism is that it was very frustrating trying to get some advice on wine selection at dinner - you would assume a luxury hotel might have either a sommelier or trained staff to assist.
