We had a wonderful stay at Araliya Beach Resort & Spa Unawatuna on 30th May 2026. The overall service was excellent, and the staff were warm and attentive throughout our stay. It's an ideal destination for a family getaway, with plenty of activities to keep both adults and kids entertained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the food offered a great variety with something for everyone. Overall, a great place to relax and create memorable family moments. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent one-night stay at Araliya Unawatuna on a full-board basis for our office staff trip. From the initial reservation process to check-out, everything was well organized and professionally managed. The hotel handled our group booking efficiently, and the shuttle service was punctual and convenient, making the entire trip smooth and stress-free. The dinner party was well arranged, with delicious food, great service, and a pleasant atmosphere that everyone enjoyed. A special thank you to the amazing staff who made our event a success: - Reservation Team: Oshada & Divya – for their prompt coordination and seamless booking process. - Banquet Team: Salinda – for the excellent hospitality and attentive service throughout the party - Sales Team: Malshan – for the outstanding support and coordination before and during the event. The entire team was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. We truly appreciate their dedication and highly recommend Araliya Unawatuna for corporate events, staff outings, and group stays. We look forward to visiting again!

We had a recent stay at this hotel, and honestly, it was one of the most horrible hotel experiences we’ve had. It was definitely not worth the money we spent. The check-in process took almost 45 minutes, which significantly delayed our lunch. By the time we reached the lunch buffet, there were only about 15 minutes left before it closed. What made the situation even worse was being asked by the staff to serve in advance whatever we wanted to eat because the buffet was about to close. It was both horrible and stressful. We had a toddler with us, so imagine trying to serve yourself while also keeping a small child from reaching for all the sweets and other food placed within close proximity. 🙄 The infinity pool experience was good, but it was far too far from our room, making it quite inconvenient. The public pool, on the other hand, was extremely overcrowded. The beach was another disappointment. It was a tiny strip of shoreline, almost completely packed with people, and hardly felt like a proper beach. As for the food, it was very average and, frankly, quite tasteless. What was particularly disappointing was that the same dessert was served for all three meals. The room itself was spacious, and the bathroom and closet were good. However, the curtains were mouldy, which was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. Also, considering this is a beach resort, the absence of basic amenities such as bathrobes and slippers was disappointing. The kids play area was filled with, worn-out broken toys. More like discarded toys. The only positive thing was the face painting. Oh my god, the road to the hotel was really narrow, we had a difficult time navigating through it. Overall, the experience was nowhere close to what we expected for the price we paid. Definitely not worth the money, and unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This place is not worth the money. I was really disappointed with the service. My child slipped in the pool area because the surface was slippery. In the kids' play area, the rubber flooring was damaged, and my child was injured while playing. Some of the play equipment was also rusty, which is a serious safety concern. The staff in the playroom did not seem attentive to the children. They were busy using their phones instead of supervising the kids. The food was average and not particularly impressive. The buffet had a limited selection, and the taste did not meet my expectations. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I don't think it offers good value for money. I hope the management improves the safety, service, and food quality.

We stayed at Araliya Beach Resort for two days.The rooms were clean, and really comfortable. The meals was veey delicious with a great variety, and the overall surroundings of the resort was relaxing and comfortable. Staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. The beachfront location is ideal for both relaxation and group activities. Our entire team had a memorable time, and this place exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxation and specially for corporate events.

I recently booked a room here for my guest, Mr. Joby Mathew, for 18–19 July 2026. My guest was 100% satisfied with the excellent hospitality, outstanding service, and wonderful hotel amenities.
