We felt very comfortable here. From the warm welcome to the excellent service provided by the very friendly staff throughout our stay, everything was perfect. Special mention must go to the team at the (Thai and Italian) restaurant Ing, Dada, Ning and Boy, where we enjoyed delicious Thai food on three evenings. The team at the excellent breakfast buffet was also incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and very clean with a great view of the pool. The pools were clean and well-maintained, and there were always plenty of sun loungers available. There was also plenty of space on the beach, and the sunsets in the evenings were spectacular. There are also many bars and small coffee and ice cream stations. A wide range of activities is available for both adults and children. You certainly won't be bored here. Outside the hotel, there's a small local night market with live music and Thai food stalls.

We stayed at le meredien for 4 nights and had a lot of wonderful memories. The hotel is very well maintained with beautiful beaches and LOTS of pools (the most I have ever been. I am a life time titaninum member and stayed over 1,500 nights with the Marriott brand). Amenities shows a lot of attention to details such as multiple LG dehumidifiers in the room, beach shoes by the beach, yoga class is offered under a roof facing the beach, etc. The highlights are the hotel family programs, kids loved the biking tour, towel animal making, movie night w/ popcorns everynight and various crafts. The staffs of the kids club gave my children a hand decorated goodie bag with treats in the end. I am very touched by their friendiness and dedication. As an adult, i enjoyed yoga, aqua program, and thai language class. All these are included in the room price. Breakfast buffet is also top notch and they make every effort to make the highly customized food to your expectations. My room was spacious with a king bed bedroom and a two twin beds bedroom, two full bathrooms, and a small dinning area. The room has two mini couryards of which one has direct access to the pool which is a huge plus (we can swim out and back to the room!).

We stayed at Le Méridien with our one-year-old daughter, and unfortunately our experience did not match what we would expect from a five-star hotel. In our opinion, this property is much closer to a four-star resort. The first disappointment was the check-in process. We arrived at around 4:30 PM and had to wait approximately 30 minutes to be checked in. There was only one other couple waiting, so it was difficult to understand why the process took so long. What made it worse was that we were standing outside in the heat with a small child after a long journey. In the end we were assigned one of the furthest rooms in the resort. It took around 10–15 minutes to walk there. Throughout our stay, we constantly found ourselves walking long distances to reach the restaurant and the hotel exit, often carrying our daughter. Anyone working in hospitality should understand that guests with babies, pregnant women, or elderly family members should be accommodated closer to the main facilities. Another surprise was that not all swimming pools were easily accessible to regular guests. Some could only be entered directly from specific swim-up rooms, which further limited our options. Our daughter celebrated her first birthday during our stay. Unfortunately, the occasion was completely ignored. We were not expecting anything extravagant, but even a small dessert with a candle from the restaurant would have made the day feel special. The complete lack of recognition was disappointing. We visit Khao Lak twice a year and have stayed in many resorts before becoming parents. Having a child has made us notice details that we previously overlooked. We visited the kids' room only once. It had many small items that could easily be swallowed by toddlers, and there was also a very strong smell of cleaning chemicals. We had tried to request a room with a bathtub to make bathing our daughter easier, as the bathroom design was not very practical. The shower diverter did not work properly, and the sink faucet was positioned so close to the basin that water splashed everywhere, even during normal hand washing. The hotel did not deliver the level of service, attention to detail, or family-friendly experience that we expect from a five-star property.

One of the best resorts in Khao Lak And it is part of Marriott brand hotels So the standard always there I feel so comfy staying there, all the staffs are outstanding From front office, restaurant at The Nest, kids club attendant, everyone is soooo warm and friendly. The housekeeping team also very nice. The room is quiet spacious and the amenities are five stars ⭐️ The pool has many areas, so you can swimming with your own space This is the first hotel I visited that has game like in Timezone for the kids club! Amazing 🤩 The food also amazingly very good We had dinner at The Nest, they have various food options and it tastes great. The breakfast also excellent. I will come back for sure Enjoy Khao Lak Enjoy Thailand 🇹🇭

★★★★½ Schönes Familienhotel mit tollem Strand – beim 5-Sterne-Service ist noch Luft nach oben Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Le Méridien Khao Lak insgesamt genossen, würden das Hotel aber eher bei 4,5 als bei 5 Sternen einordnen. Als Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite Member haben wir ein kostenloses Zimmer-Upgrade bekommen. Unsere Wünsche wurden sehr gut berücksichtigt: ruhige Lage, schöne Aussicht und insgesamt ein ordentliches Zimmer. Hier hat das Hotel wirklich alles so umgesetzt, wie wir es uns gewünscht hatten. Die Hotelanlage selbst ist grundsätzlich schön und gerade für Familien gut geeignet. Von außen wirkt das Hotel an einigen Stellen allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ein neuer Anstrich würde hier meiner Meinung nach schon einiges bewirken. Auch die gesamte Anlage finde ich persönlich nicht ganz so schön wie bei anderen Resorts dieser Kategorie – das ist natürlich teilweise Geschmackssache. Ein großes Plus ist dafür definitiv der Strand. Der lange Sandstrand hier ist wunderschön und das Meer gefällt uns deutlich besser als weiter nördlich in Khao Lak. Wir waren während der Regenzeit bzw. Nebensaison hier. Davon sollte man sich meiner Erfahrung nach nicht zu sehr abschrecken lassen: Wir hatten ein bis zwei Tage mit Regen, ansonsten war das Wetter überwiegend schön und angenehm. Der Service ist grundsätzlich in Ordnung, für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel fehlen mir aber ein paar Dinge. Einen abendlichen Turndown-/Aufdeckservice gab es beispielsweise nicht. Auch am Pool kommt normalerweise niemand vorbei und fragt, ob man etwas trinken möchte. Möchte man etwas bestellen, muss man selbst aktiv werden. Das ist natürlich kein großes Problem, aber bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie würde ich etwas mehr proaktiven Service erwarten. Das Fitnessstudio ist ordentlich ausgestattet. Etwas unpraktisch finde ich allerdings, dass es dort keine eigene Toilette gibt und man dafür relativ weit laufen muss. In unserem zweiten Zimmer hatten wir außerdem das Problem, dass es bei Regen hineingeregnet hat. Das Hotel hat uns sehr schnell ein anderes Zimmer angeboten, was wir allerdings nicht annehmen wollten. Als Ausgleich bekamen wir einen Gutschein über 1.000 Baht. Das empfand ich angesichts des Problems als eher knapp bemessen, aber zumindest hat das Hotel schnell reagiert und sich um eine Lösung bemüht. Insgesamt ist das Le Méridien Khao Lak ein gutes und familienfreundliches Resort mit einem wirklich schönen Strand. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und würden es grundsätzlich auch Familien empfehlen. Für die vollen fünf Sterne fehlt mir allerdings an einigen Stellen noch etwas – insbesondere beim Service und beim Gesamteindruck der Anlage. Daher von uns 4,5 von 5 Sternen.

I had another wonderful stay at Le Méridien Khao Lak and once again the hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax. The breakfast was one of the highlights of my stay. There was an excellent variety of dishes, everything tasted authentic and delicious, and despite the restaurant being very busy every morning, the team managed the situation exceptionally well. A very special thank you to Khun Ae at the main breakfast restaurant. I’ve been seeing her since my very first stay, and she continues to impress me every time. She remembered me and even the details of what I usually order, which made every breakfast feel so personal. Muna also provided excellent service and was always attentive and welcoming. Most afternoons, I spent my time at Coconut Joe, and it became one of my favorite spots in the hotel. Noi and Tom are outstanding at what they do. Their drinks were perfectly crafted every time and made my afternoons even more enjoyable. Finally, my sincere thanks go to Khun Lek and the entire team for taking such great care of me and for recognizing my loyalty. It’s always the people who make a hotel truly memorable, and the team at Le Méridien Khao Lak consistently delivers genuine hospitality that keeps me coming back. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return again. Thank you to everyone for making my holiday another memorable experience!
