We were really disappointed with our experience at Quinta do Furão. We had specifically reserved a table on the outdoor terrace, but upon arrival we were asked to sit inside. While that wasn’t ideal, it wasn’t the main issue. The biggest problem was the incredibly slow service. We waited over an hour just for our pizzas, and the entire meal—from being seated to finally paying the bill—took almost three hours. For such a simple order, this was completely unreasonable. What made the experience even more frustrating was seeing a nearby table, who arrived well after us, receive their food much earlier. It gave us the impression that local customers were being prioritized over tourists. On top of that, getting a waiter’s attention was extremely difficult. Even after finishing our meal, we had to wait a long time just to ask for the bill and complete the payment. The food itself was decent, but unfortunately it wasn’t worth the excessive waiting time and poor service. We left feeling frustrated rather than enjoying what should have been a relaxing meal.

Wir hatten die Möglichkeit 10 Nächte in diesem tollen Hotel mit Blick aufs Meer zu verbringen. Die Lage ist einzigartig. Mit dem Betreten des Hotels stellt sich der Urlaubsmodus ein. Angefangen von den super freundlichen Mitarbeitern an der Rezeption über die fleißigen Mitarbeiter die sich um den Zimmerservice kümmern, die hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter an der Bar, sowie den fleißigen Mitarbeitern beim Frühstück, die mit ihrer guten Laune und Service keine Wünsche offen ließen, wird uns dieser Urlaub in bester Erinnerung bleiben ! Danke für diese wundervolle Zeit ! Wir kommen wieder.

Nejlepší hotel na ostrově v nadherném prostředí, personál velmi přátelský, pralinka na posteli před spaním je tou nejmilejší pozorností.Výborné snídaně i večeře (bezkonkurenční vlastní chléb).Byli jsme na Madeiře už ve 3 hotelech, tento hodnotím nejlépe!

The hotel was absolutely amazing! We originally booked it for just one night, but we enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to stay for an extra night. Everything about the hotel is beautiful, and the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

This is just the best olace to stay in Madeira! Absolute amazing view from the dependance rooms to the ocean and the cliff. Amazing service at the breakfast menue, nothing is missing, very nice selection of food, good coffee, fresh omlettes, pancakes, waffles, etc. Just ask! The rooms are nice and since this year with AC in the dependance rooms and some others in the main building. Very nice in summer! Best part is the absolute and unbeatable SILENCE at night. There is absolutely NOTHING that is noisy, no cars, no other venues or bars, just amazing silence. If you are looking for a very relaxing time, this is the spot. 100% Recommendation, we will come back again for sure! Muito Obrigado to the team!
